My name is Chris Williams. I hold degrees in digital system and computer engineering (BEng) and astronomy (MSc). I call myself an armchair astronomer because I do very little actual looking through a telescope (I do own one). I'm far more interested in the physics than the the bagging of Messier objects in the amateur astronomy equivalent of train spotting.

I live in sunny Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. You can find all sort of interesting titbits about Brisbane at the I Love Brisbane Blog.

This site is intended mainly as a place for various ramblings and musings of mine. There is some material from my astronomy studies over here. I'll be posting on astronomy, and perhaps other, topics from time to time.
